Kevin Williams

Kevin Williams is an attorney with a wide range of practice experience. First admitted as an attorney in Johannesburg, South Africa, in 2014, he went on to be admitted as a solicitor of the High Courts of England and Wales and in California.

Kevin's current practice focuses on criminal defense, First Amendment issues including religious freedom, justice-impacted individuals and reentry, as well as general corporate, commercial and non-profit law.

Kevin acted and continues to act as General Counsel for OneTaste, an organization at the forefront of developing a feminine ethos of spirituality, a groundbreaking meditative practice with several peer-reviewed scientific studies behind it, and a vision for a flourishing world.

He also acts for several individuals and entities that have a vision and mission of a flourishing world in which the most discarded areas are treated with dignity and respect. This has included the development of Unconditional Freedom’s Free Food Harlem, Prison Monastery Program, Guards to Guardians Program, Free the Artist, and many other innovative programs aimed at advancing a flourishing world.

He writes regularly about liberty, and the ongoing dialogue between freedom and safety in our culture.

Kevin also has significant experience in public international law and international investment arbitration, with an AmLaw 100 firm and a leading South African law firm, where he acted as counsel in significant investor-state arbitrations.

He was also a Fellow at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law, where he was a contributing author on Ripinsky with Williams, Damages in International Investment Law.

He is a graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa and University College London.
